Dear Healers,

I wish we had a RESTART button in our Life…….

I wish we could REWIND our Life to modify our Past…….

 


We all have surely wished for this at some point in our lives. But if Life gave us these buttons, could we enjoy the true essence of life just the way we do now? Probably Not!

So, can we create these buttons in our life? Yes!! Indeed…and the way to do so is through SELF - HEALING.

We are living in an era where every person is going through a different set of struggles or problems and we often find it difficult to create harmony in our thoughts and often land up hurting our SELF. This creates a bizarreness in our life eventually giving rise to a feeling of sorrow or sadness.

To free ourselves from the shackles of the unstoppable emotions, Self- Healing acts like a catalyst.

Self Healing? What exactly does it mean?

Self Healing is applying the Band-Aid of Love and compassion to the wounds that hurt and create unhappiness in our life. It means recharging ourselves by taking charge of our emotions and drifting from the state of unhappiness to eternal happiness.



We always wish to travel time and go back to the times that hurt us and wish to change the patches of life to create a better picture of today’s life. We continuously put our energy into thinking about what happened…why it happened..what could have happened…what we could do at that phase of time etc. Often in this race, we forget to live the present and we get lost in the past events. This directly ruins our         imminent future as well. It is rightly said – ‘The Past is a good place to visit but not to stay. We can visit and learn our lessons but getting stuck there is not the ultimate solution.


If we constantly dive in into the past, it indicates that the wounds are still fresh and they are asking for healing. The best person to heal these  wounds is oneself.


“We are the key to our Freedom from everything that seems to be disturbing us.”


Why Self-Healing??

Self-Healing is for every individual on this earth rather it should be a priority for all of us. Providing Love and compassion to the self gives us a chance to bounce back in Life with more vigour and enthusiasm and       achieve everything that seems impossible.


Healing can be done in various ways but when the Self (ourself)is connected to the healing, it creates Magic.


No matter what has happened in Life, there is always a room to Rise    and Shine and create an impact in the lives of others.

Can we heal ourselves?

We are born to be limitless! Our beautiful and complex human body is  designed to heal everything, only the thing that lacks is the faith and the belief that we can heal ourself.


So, how to heal ourself?

We have been programmed since our childhood to love others and to care for others. Hardly do we speak or get trained for Self-Love and Self Care.

We deserve the same amount of Love, Care, Compassion for      ourselves as we give to others.


Ways to Self-Healing:

Self-Healing takes time and requires motivation. Often, we look out for  the motivation but it is better to ignite the spark within us.


‘Everything we need is right inside us.’ Anything and everything  around us can motivate us, just see them through the lens of close observation.


We often tend to have a wonderful start but we stop in between and so the  process does not create any impact and we feel that our wounds are still fresh. Consistent efforts help us to heal ourselves quickly and completely.




So, let us promise ourselves that we will liberate ourself from  everything that weighs us down. A few self-tested ways of self – healing are mentioned below:


1.  Accept and Embrace yourself: You are perfectly designed by the   Creator, it will take care of you just it takes care of all.

Accept yourself with all your flaws and qualities.


 

2.  Give time to yourself: Remove at least 1/2 hour from the schedule and call it as ‘Me Time’. Listen to your heart, Introspect and spend quality time with only yourself.


3.  Forgive yourself and others: Sit with closed eyes, recall all the incidents that hurt one by one, accept everything and start forgiving everyone. Forgive yourself as well.

[Remember the response at that particular time was as per the situations and understandings at that time, which were out of our control] Forgiving is the best medicine for healing the inner self.


 4.  Be Grateful for everything: Count your blessings and express gratitude for getting blessed with the gift of life. [Not all are lucky to get another chance to live another day. Remember to make it worthy].


5. Be Compassionate towards yourself: Love yourself, Be kind to yourself. Apologize to your body for ignoring it and being unkind to it at times.


6. Believe in yourself: Discover your inner power and believe that   you can free yourself from the burden of the past or the wounds  that cause trouble.


7. Give Self - Affirmations: Positive self – affirmations give outstanding results. Create your own affirmations that give you  energy, and keep repeating them throughout the day.


8. Pour yourself and write it down: As soon as you get a negative feeling or get stuck up, pull out a paper and a pen and start writing what you feel at that moment. Read it once done. [If you wish, you can discard the paper after reading. This will create a lot   of clarity in thoughts and life will change effectively.


9. It’s absolutely good to cry: Pouring our heart out and crying removes the blurriness of our vision. It improves the way we start looking at the same things and events.


10. If you want something new, you have to stop doing something  old:

Stop setting the feet in the flashback and start focusing on building and enjoying the present. This will eventually create happiness in life.


11. Pray Daily: The best self–healing way is to pray to the Supreme Power and ask for everything that you desire.
